Continue on this road for approximately 85 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. Take the right fork onto Al-Kharj Road and continue for another 100 kilometers until you reach Al-Kharj Governorate. From there, take the exit onto Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Road heading towards Abha. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit for Abha Airport and continue straight until you reach the dam.

Those coming from Jeddah can take the following route: Head north on King Abdulaziz International Airport Road towards Exit 888. Continue straight for approximately 17 kilometers before taking a slight left turn to stay on King Abdulaziz International Airport Road. After another 12 kilometers, take a slight right turn to merge onto Makkah-Jeddah Highway/King Fahd Causeway towards Bahrain. Continue straight for approximately 193 kilometers before taking the exit towards Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Road/Abha Regional Airport Rd/Al Wajh Coastal Rd/Najran-Yanbu highway/Exit 488A. From there, follow the signs for Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Road/Abha and continue straight for another 30 kilometers before taking the exit for Abha Airport and continuing straight until you reach the dam.
