What is the Capital of Egypt?

Cairo is the capital of Egypt and the most important city in the country. With a population of almost 20 million, Cairo is also the most populous city in Africa . However, the current government is building a brand new capital about 45 km from Cairo. The new city should be seven times the size of Paris, and see the light of day in 2030.
