Arenas de Barcelona
An iconic building of Barcelona that is fun to visit without even buying anything. Previously, the arena was intended for spectacular bullfighting performances. It is currently a stylized and modern shopping center.
The building was converted into a shopping center in 2011, but the façade remains intact. On the 6th floor of the arenas there is an observation deck with gorgeous views of Plaza Espanya (Placa Espanya) and the National Palace (Palau Nacional). From Thursday to Sunday evenings from the observation deck, you can also see a magnificent performance – the singing fountains , which are located right in front of the National Palace.
There are also several restaurants on the Aren observation deck. And right next to the Arenas, there is a fresh seafood buffet restaurant Wok, where you can have a really tasty and inexpensive meal (we highly recommend it!).

Corte Inglés
Perhaps the most important chain of stores in Europe, something like our Central Department Store. The Corte Inglés shopping center is located in the very center of Barcelona, on Plaça Catalunya. In one place, a lot of shops of different directions are collected – here you can find clothes, shoes, and groceries. The prices are high, so it is more profitable to come during the sales season . There is a cafe on the 9th floor of the building with beautiful views of the city and Plaza Catalunya.

Glories (Les Glories)
Huge shopping center with good transport accessibility. Inside there are 230 renowned shops, a multiplex cinema, bars and restaurants on outdoor terraces. Many people come here because of the Carrefour hypermarket, where you can buy groceries, household goods and even clothes at a low price. The complex is located on Diagonal Avenue and consists of 3 levels – walk does not cross.

The Center Comercial Maremàgnumis
Large American style mall with shops, discos, bars, restaurants, rooftop mini golf, cinemas and an aquarium. Interesting is the building itself, standing on an artificial island in the bay, it is of an unusual shape, and at night, lighting also adds beauty. The center is located at the end of the Moll de la Fusta and is open from 10 am to 10 pm all year round. This is the only shopping center that is open on Sunday. Diagonal Mar
At the end of Avenida Diagonal you will find the newest and most modern shopping center in Barcelona, with more than 250 shops, cinemas, playgrounds for children and a playground overlooking the sea under its roof. There is a direct road from the store to the beach, so you can always take a walk.
The complex is divided into levels. The first floor is reserved for household appliances, televisions and all household goods. The second is for fashion, design and personal care, and the top floor is for good restaurants. There are almost no expensive brand boutiques here, mainly mid-price chain stores (Primark, Zara, etc.), there is a large grocery hypermarket Auchan. Another advantage of this shopping center is the large underground parking.

L’Illa Diagonal
This complex was the first shopping center to open in the nineties. Due to its size, it was known as the “Superblock”. The superblock is located on Avenida Diagonal in good transport accessibility, but due to its not too huge size, there are not too many people here.

La Maquinista
The largest and newest shopping center in Catalonia, spread over three levels. This is not just a shopping center, it is a shopping city with its streets and avenues! There is also a cinema, bowling center and Carrefour hypermarket. there is a large free parking lot, although during the sales season, it is completely clogged.
